Anfiteatro Festival

“Anfiteatro Festival” seventeen great events ranging from operas to concerts, from dance to theater took place in the marvelous setting of the Roman amphitheater of Albano Laziale in the outskirts of Rome in July and August 2012.

Maestro Uto Ughi, inaugurated the Festival, with I Filarmonici di Roma and during the following two weeks,  two grand operas were staged, Carmen and Nabucco; the dancers of Balletto di Roma, performed Otello; a tribute to Mario del Monaco was organized with a concert of the most famous arias and duets sang by the famous tenor during his career; some of the most well-known jazz artists played in the amphitheater. Each event, equally successful, attracted audience from the entire area and from Rome.

The second edition will be staged in the summer of 2013.

Musica Fuori Centro: eleven great concerts by Europa Musica

Europa Musica is producing a festival of eleven concerts of famous artists such as Salvatore Accardo, Bruno Canino, Aldo Matassa and groups like Quartetto Prometeo, Estrio and  Opera Ensemble.

Through this project, Musica Fuori Centro, Europa Musica intends to introduce the younger generations to classical music and promote young talents, artists coming from famous musica academies such as Santa Cecilia Opera Studio, Fondazione Stauffer and the Keyboard Charitable Trust.

Maestro Salvatore Accardo in Rome

Europa Musica is pleased to announce the concert of Maestro Salvatore Accardo and his Orchestra on Friday, March 9 at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels and the Martyrs  in Rome.

The concert is organized by Rotary Club Appia Antica of Rome to raise funds for the restoration of the famous Bianchini’s sundial.
